Application description:
Widely used in kitchenware (sinks, cookware, utensils), food processing equipment, chemical tanks, pharmaceutical machinery, automotive trim, architectural decoration (elevators, handrails), heat exchangers, and medical devices. The corrosion resistance and hygiene make it ideal for sanitary and outdoor environments. Suitable for deep drawing, stamping, and tube manufacturing.

Production description
The process begins with melting raw materials in an electric arc furnace, followed by AOD or VOD refining to achieve precise chemical composition. The molten steel is continuously cast into slabs. Slabs are reheated and hot rolled to reduce thickness, then annealed and pickled to remove scale and restore corrosion resistance. For cold rolled coils, the hot rolled coil is cold reduced on reversing or tandem mills to achieve tighter tolerances and smoother surfaces. Intermediate and final annealing under controlled atmosphere ensures proper grain structure and ductility. A final skin pass (temper rolling) improves flatness and mechanical properties. The strip is then inspected, edge trimmed if required, and coiled with inner diameter 508mm or 610mm. Finished coils are tested for hardness, surface quality, and dimensional accuracy before packing.

Shipping Packaging
For export, stainless steel coils are wrapped with VCI paper and moisture-proof polyethylene, placed on ISPM-15 certified wooden pallets or steel skids, secured with steel straps, and fitted with edge protectors. Labels include grade, finish, dimensions, coil weight, and heat number for safe sea freight.
Why Choose Us?
1.Factory Strength – Direct mill with integrated melting, hot/cold rolling, annealing & pickling lines, ensuring full process control and stable supply.
2.Quality Assurance – Strict control of chemical composition, mechanical properties, and surface finish; compliant with ASTM A240, JIS G4304/G4305, EN 10088.
3.Certifications & Reports – Mill test certificates (MTC) with each shipment; third-party inspections (SGS, BV) available upon request.

FAQ
1. How to store stainless steel coils to avoid surface damage?
Store indoors on dry, clean pallets, keep original wrapping intact, avoid contact with carbon steel to prevent rust staining, and maintain humidity below 70%.
2. Can stainless steel coils be supplied with different edge conditions?
Yes, we offer both mill edge (as-rolled) and slit edge (trimmed to precise width). Slit edge provides cleaner, burr-free edges for further processing.
3. What is the difference between 304 and 316L stainless steel coils?
304 is general-purpose with good corrosion resistance. 316L contains molybdenum, offering superior resistance to chlorides and acidic environments, ideal for marine or chemical applications.
