| Application | Stainless steel strips are used in high temperature applications, medical devices, building materials, chemicals, food industry, agriculture, ship parts. It is also suitable for food, beverage packaging, kitchen supplies, trains, airplanes, conveyor belts, vehicles, bolts, nuts, springs and screens. |
Application description:
Widely used in electronic components (springs, contacts, shielding), automotive parts (hose clamps, gaskets, trim), medical devices (surgical instruments, blades), kitchen utensils (knives, spatulas), industrial fasteners, washers, and flexible ducts. The narrow width and precise thickness make it ideal for stamping, roll forming, and continuous punching. Different hardness levels suit forming, bending, or spring applications.

Production description
The process begins with cold rolled stainless steel coil. The coil is annealed and pickled to achieve desired microstructure and surface condition. It is then cold rolled to precise thickness (as low as 0.05mm) through multiple passes. Intermediate annealing may be applied to control hardness and ductility. The strip is then slit to required width (5mm–600mm) on precision slitting lines with deburring to produce clean edges (slit, round, or square). Optionally, edge rolling or grinding is applied for special edge profiles. For spring applications, the strip is temper rolled to achieve 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or full hard condition. Finally, the strip is rewound into coils with specified inner diameter, inspected for thickness, width, edge quality, and hardness, then packed.

Shipping Packaging
For export, stainless steel strips are wound on plastic or steel reels (or spooled), wrapped with VCI paper and moisture-proof polyethylene, packed in wooden crates or on ISPM-15 pallets, secured with steel straps, and fitted with edge protectors. Labels include grade, temper, dimensions, coil weight, and heat number for safe sea freight.

Why Choose Us?
1.Factory Strength: Direct manufacturer with precision cold rolling, annealing, slitting, and edge processing lines, ensuring tight thickness tolerance (±0.01mm) and consistent hardness for narrow strips.
2.Quality Assurance: Strict control of surface finish (2B, BA, No.4, HL), edge condition (slit, round, square), and temper (soft to full hard); compliant with ASTM A240, JIS G4305, EN 10088.
3.Certifications & Reports: Mill test certificates (MTC) with each shipment; third-party inspections (SGS, BV) and hardness test reports available upon request.
4.Customization & Service: Wide grade range (201, 304, 316L, 430), thickness 0.05–3.0mm, width 5–600mm, custom hardness and edge profiles with fast lead times.
5.Export Packaging: VCI paper + moisture-proof wrapping + wooden crates/ISPM-15 pallets + edge protectors for safe sea freight and damage-free delivery.
FAQ
1. How to store stainless steel strips to prevent edge damage?
Store in dry, clean area on flat pallets, keep original wrapping intact, avoid heavy stacking, and handle with care to protect sharp edges from dents.
2. Can stainless steel strips be supplied in different hardness levels for spring applications?
Yes, we offer temper from soft (annealed) to 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full hard. Full hard provides high strength and springback for clips, springs, and fasteners.
3. What edge types are available for slitting?
We provide slit edge (deburred), round edge (rolled), and square edge (ground). Choose based on your stamping, forming, or safety requirements.
