Product Description
Produced by hot rolling and cold rolling from high-quality aluminum alloy ingot, then coiled into compact rolls. Features light weight, excellent corrosion resistance, uniform thickness, and good formability. Available alloys: 1050, 1060, 1100, 3003, 3004, 3105, 5005, 5052, 5083, 5754, 6061, 6082. Thickness range: 0.2mm – 6.0mm (thin coil); hot rolled coil up to 12mm. Width: 100mm – 2200mm (slit or full width). Coil inner diameter: 405mm, 505mm, or 508mm. Coil weight: custom, typically 2–10 tons per coil. Surface finish: mill finish (as-rolled), embossed, brushed, polished, anodized, or coated (polyester, PVDF). Temper: O, H12, H14, H16, H18, H22, H24, H32, H34, H36, T4, T6, T651. Edge condition: mill edge or slit edge (deburred). Excellent weldability and formability for stamping, roll forming, and deep drawing. Meets ASTM B209, EN 485, JIS H4000, or GB/T 3880 standards. Custom widths, coatings, and tempers available.

Application description
Widely used in roofing and cladding (corrugated panels, gutters, downspouts), automotive parts (body panels, heat shields), HVAC systems (ducting, insulation backing), household appliances (refrigerator liners, cookware), packaging (aluminum cans, foil, bottle caps), electrical cable sheathing, lighting reflectors, and signage. Also suitable for transportation (trailer panels, truck bodies) and industrial heat exchangers. The coil form allows efficient stamping, roll forming, and deep drawing for high-volume production.
Production description
Aluminum ingot is heated and hot rolled to reduce thickness, then cold rolled to achieve precise gauge and surface finish. The strip is coiled, annealed to achieve desired temper (O, H, etc.), and optionally surface treated (coated, anodized, or polished). The coil is slit to required width, inspected, and packed.
Shipping Packaging
For export, aluminum coils are wrapped with VCI paper and moisture-proof polyethylene, placed on ISPM-15 wooden pallets or steel skids, secured with steel straps, and fitted with edge protectors and coil protectors. Labels include alloy, temper, dimensions, coil weight, and heat number for safe sea freight.

FAQ
1. How to store aluminum coils to prevent surface oxidation and edge damage?
Store in dry, clean warehouse on wooden pallets or steel skids, keep original VCI paper and moisture-proof wrapping intact. Avoid direct contact with concrete or wet ground. For long-term storage, maintain humidity below 60%. Keep coils upright (eye vertical) to prevent distortion. Do not stack coils unless designed for stacking.
2. What is the difference between O temper and H14 temper aluminum coils?
O temper (annealed) is soft and highly formable, ideal for deep drawing and complex bending. H14 temper (strain-hardened, half-hard) offers moderate strength and good formability, suitable for general stamping, roll forming, and applications requiring higher rigidity than O temper. Choose O for extreme forming, H14 for structural parts with moderate strength.
3. Can aluminum coils be painted or anodized after slitting?
Yes. For painted finishes, we offer pre-coated coils (polyester or PVDF) in RAL colors. For anodizing, mill finish coils can be sent to anodizing lines after slitting. However, pre-anodized or pre-coated coils are recommended for better consistency and cost efficiency. We can also supply coils ready for post-processing (cleaned, degreased).
